Strange days. An aerial photo and film flight over the San Francisco Bay on June 23, 2009 revealed a pattern in the tide confluence under the Golden Gate Bridge. Extreme tide speeds stirred up the bottom and formed plumes in the incoming fresh tidal waters. Our fly-over was to capture digital images of a beautiful private yacht disembarking the San Francisco Bay for the Northern Waters of Alaska. It was a clear day and the horizon stretched for miles. While muddy waters are not always considered photogenic, these plumes and upwellings had a beautiful artistic pattern. I personally have never seen anything like it. Sandra Cannon, SFBAYIMAGES.com.
