California Transient

This Orca Whale is from the J-pod that normally resides in the waters around the San Juan Islands, Washington. She was a baby when I took this shot in 2007 in the waters off the Farallon Islands. I have seen more recent pictures of her and her Mother on a recent visit to the San Juan Islands. Actually, I am not sure if she is she, but Marine Biologists taught me how to identify them by their markings.
