South Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge, October, Fleetweek. It takes a lot of patience to get a shot like this. October 8th, 2005. Of course, I have never thought about photoshop or special effects. I like the challenge of the shoot to get something special right in the moment.
Something that only will happen in that instant and will never happen again. That is why a lot of my photography has landmark events, regattas, fleetweek or sports with San Francisco in the background. Unique moments in time with "permanent" backgrounds. We are coming up on one, the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge.
